I didn't know anything about the grade 10 literacy test and i still don't know very much about it all I know is that it is worth alot on our final mark and I do bad on it i will probably fail grade 10 english and I will have to repeat grade 10 english again.
Honestly I don't think i'm ready for the literacy test because I know nothing about and I am going to be really nervous because i don't want to fail it and do another year of high school.

ReplyDeleteThanks for your honesty here. I think you will be fine, but of course I can't help you pass the test unless you are willing to put some effort in as well.
You won't have to do another year of high school because of the test. Some students rewrite it the next year. Others take a special course in gr. 12 which allows them to graduate on schedule.
The most important part is to take every chance you can get to practice your reading and writing. If I ask you to read in class--read in class. When I make corrections to your written work, make sure you understand why I made the corrections I did. You are a bright lad, you'll be just fine.
